Inescapable Urge to Flee

For as long as I can remember I’ve had the urge to get outside, explore new places, and dominate the local wildlife.

Powersports

Snowmobiles mainly, but at times motorcycles, dirt bikes, and other hooligan machines. I’ve had a few close calls in my life so I try to limit my seat time on these things.

Fishing

The passion I’ve logged the most hours in. Saltwater, freshwater, sharks or bluegills, I’m always chasing that new species, next personal best, or a new way of catching the same fish.

Hiking

Flying past some pretty places on a snowmobile or bike made me realize that it would be nice to take it slow and smell the pine trees. Some exercise wouldn’t hurt, either.

Camping

Like doing chores? Want to sleep with the fear of getting eaten alive by a wild animal? Like setting fires? Boy do I have a hobby for you.

Snowsports

I took up snowboarding a couple years ago as a ‘safer’ alternative to snowmobiles and I love it.

Photography

I get the urge to capture pretty scenes. My iPhone is full of photos nobody’s likely to see. Partly the origin of this website.
